As part of a campaign to raise awareness about the availability of hospice care in all 55 counties of West Virginia, a flier has been designed with a map and listing of the 18 hospices in the Hospice Council. West Virginia hospices score very high in quality measures and are ranked 6th in the nation. West Virginia’s certificate of need regulations have allowed growth where there has been a need for more services, but prevent duplication of services. The Hospice Council of West Virginia advocates for the preservation of certificate of need. Our hospices make investments in the West Virginia communities they serve and the communities invest in them by volunteering and donating.
